Front-facing, well-lit selfies work best. One face per photo, they don't need to be taken together.
Only upload photos you have the right to use. Do not upload celebrities, minors, or photos of other people without their consent.
2Pick a rap template
The lyrics and beat are created around what you type. Real names and one detail make it yours. Leave it empty for a general hype song.

A birthday rap for adults, made from one photo
This AI birthday rap puts the person in your photo at their own party: balloons in pink, gold and teal, confetti on the floor, a glowing neon sign and a cake with the candles lit. They step up to the mic and rap a birthday song made just for them.
Every song is new. The beat and the lyrics are written around what you type, so the rap can say their name, their age or the joke only your friends get. Make it funny for a best friend or warm for a partner or a parent.

Photos that work best for a birthday rap song
The rapper at the party is built from your photo, so a good picture gives a better video.
A large, sharp face
Pick a photo where the face fills a good part of the frame and looks roughly at the camera.
Even light
Soft light on the whole face works better than hard shadows or a dark bar at night.
One person per photo
Crop a group photo down to the birthday person, so it is clear who raps.
No sunglasses or masks
Glasses, masks and heavy filters hide the face. A plain photo works best.
Pets welcome
It's your dog's birthday? Use a photo with the whole face and both eyes visible.
Only photos you may use
Use your own photos or photos of people who agreed. Celebrities, public figures and minors are not allowed.

Birthday rap song FAQ
What is a birthday rap song?
A birthday rap song is a birthday wish in rap form, with bars about the person and a hook to celebrate the day. Here you make one as a video: upload their photo and get a short clip of them rapping a new birthday song at a party, with its own beat and lyrics.
How do I make a funny birthday rap?
Type their name and one habit everyone knows in the theme box, like "my sister who is always 20 minutes late". The lyrics are written around it. Keep the joke about habits, not looks, so everyone laughs, including them.
Can the birthday rap say their name?
Yes. Put the name in the theme box, with their age or an inside joke if you like, and the rap is written around it.
How much does a birthday rap video cost?
You buy a credit pack once, from $9.99, with no subscription. Each birthday rap video uses credits based on its length and quality, and you see the price next to the Make my rap video button before you start. If a video fails, its credits go back to your account automatically.
Does the birthday rap video come with music?
Yes. Every video comes with its own beat and lyrics. It is an original birthday rap, not a cover of an existing birthday song.
Is it a good birthday rap for adults?
Yes. It is made for adults: friends, partners, parents, siblings and coworkers. You choose the tone with the theme, from a playful roast to a warm thank-you.
Can I make a birthday rap for my dog or cat?
Yes. Upload a clear photo of your pet with the whole face visible and type their name in the theme. For more pet scenes, see the pet rap video page.
What photos work best for a birthday rap song?
One clear, front-facing face in even light, without sunglasses, masks or heavy filters. Photos can be JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB.
Do I need an app to make a birthday rap video?
No. It works in the browser on iPhone, Android and desktop. Pick a photo from your camera roll and download the MP4 to send on WhatsApp, iMessage or Instagram.
Can I use photos of celebrities or children?
No. Use your own photos or photos of adults who agreed. Celebrities, public figures and anyone under 18 are not allowed.
